Zimbra
The situation
Zimbra is one of the more recent email client success stories out there. Before their acquisition by Yahoo for $350 million, they contacted us to see what we could do to gain them as much exposure as possible and expand their userbase to new levels.
How we thought about it
Zimbra already had a great product however in the competitive email space the trick was to do everything possible in order to drive relevant traffic to their website that would convert to Zimbra users. Given the high volume of searches for email clients, PPC optimization and search engine optimization were the highest impact strategies we could put together. By combining a comprehensive search engine optimization strategy with careful and well-executed pay-per-click campaigns we were able to rapidly increase Zimbra’s customer base and help them along their path to success.
Results
Strong search marketing campaigns delivered more traffic and ultimately more users to Zimbra, which is what they came to us for.
